Farms with the most visitor information (opening hours, phone numbers, photos) are listed first.

You do not need to leave the city to start a Cape wine trip. Constantia is the historic heart: van der Stel's 1685 plantings, sweet wine fame in Europe, and a green valley behind Table Mountain. Durbanville, on the Tygerberg hills, is a different climate again — rolling, windy, Sauvignon-driven, with views to Table Bay. Philadelphia sits further north; Hout Bay is a tiny, cool ward on the Atlantic side.

The old Tygerberg district was repealed; those wards now live under Cape Town. WineFarmz still gives Constantia and Durbanville their own ward pages because that is how people search and tour. Farm assignment uses the tighter Constantia and Durbanville boxes first, then falls back to Cape Town.

These are the highest-convenience tasting rooms in the atlas: Uber-able, half-day friendly, and rich in heritage narrative.
