Farms with the most visitor information (opening hours, phone numbers, photos) are listed first.

Wellington used to be discussed as an appendix of Paarl. In the current Wine of Origin map it is its own district, with wards such as Bovlei and Blouvlei. The town sits at the foot of the Groenberg, with vineyards climbing kloof roads that feel immediately more rural than the N1 corridor.

The climate is warm. Growers who want freshness look to altitude, breeze and old vines rather than ocean. Chenin, Rhône varieties and honest, mid-weight reds are the local language. For travellers, Wellington is a calmer day than Stellenbosch: fewer buses, more working farms, and an easy pairing with Bainskloof or the Swartland.

If a farm's coordinates sit north of Paarl and east of the Berg toward the Groenberg, WineFarmz files it under Wellington.
