Bachelor and Bachelorette Wine Tours from Cape Town
Celebration wine tours for hens and stags — verified operators only; not a wedding venues guide.
Last checked: 6 October 2026
A Winelands day is one of the Cape's favourite ways to celebrate a bride or groom-to-be: someone else drives, the scenery does the rest, and the whole group gets home safely. This guide covers bachelor and bachelorette wine tours from Cape Town that are sold specifically for hen and stag groups. We found two operators with dedicated, verified party products, so this is a short list rather than a padded one. Below them, we've added practical options for groups who'd rather build their own day.
How we checked this
Each tour was checked on the operator's official website on 6 October 2026. Prices are copied exactly with year and basis, and we say what's included. This page is about wine tours (transport and tastings), not wedding venues.

Wine in the Cape — Bachelorette Wine Tour
Distinct trait: a fully private Franschhoek day with a little party kit for the bride tribe.
You're collected from your Cape Town hotel at 09:00 and taken to four handpicked Franschhoek estates for tastings with food pairings. Everyone gets a bachelorette "lucky packet" with complimentary bubbles and paper cups. Lunch is at an estate or village restaurant, for your own account, and you're back at about 17:30. Estates are chosen for your group and depend on availability. The operator also markets this tour for hen parties and birthdays.
Price (per person, by group size), tastings and pairings included, lunch extra:
- 2026: 1 guest R8,600; 2 R5,500; 3 R4,000; 4 R3,300; 5 R2,900; 6 R2,600; 7+ R2,500.
- From 1 January 2027: R9,250 / R5,920 / R4,300 / R3,550 / R3,120 / R2,800 / R2,700.

Distinct trait: built for big groups, with the operator hosting the party and managing transport for you.
Kiff Kombi Tours publishes suggested hen and stag itineraries for groups of 10 or more (its group tours page says up to 200; another page says 10 to 60, so ask about your numbers). Each package includes hosting, logistics and transport management, and you can also build your own day. Bookings are by enquiry form, not instant checkout.

Other ways to plan a celebration day
If neither package suits, these routes work for many groups. Always tell the operator it's a celebration when you book.
- A private tour for your group. Several operators run private days where you choose the estates and pace; see private wine tours from Cape Town.
- Pairing-heavy days. Chocolate, cheese and biltong pairings are a crowd-pleaser; see chocolate and cheese wine tours.
- Lunch sorted. See wine tours with lunch included.
- Hiring a vehicle and driver for your own plan. See non-guided driver options.
- Not every tour accepts parties. Durbanville Wine Safari, for example, states that its hop-on tours are not for bachelor or bachelorette parties. Check the rules before you book a shared product.
Planning tips for hens and stags
- Book early. Weekend estates and restaurants fill up, especially in summer.
- Agree the budget up front, including lunch, tips and any wine purchases. See wine tour tipping and booking tips.
- Pace the tastings. Four estates plus lunch is plenty. See how many wineries in one day.
- Plan for non-drinkers in the group; see sober and non-alcoholic wine tours.
- Respect the tasting room. Celebrations are welcome, but see tasting room etiquette.
- Staying over? See /places-to-stay.
