All-Inclusive Wedding Packages at Cape Winelands Wine Farms
Wine farm wedding packages compared: what each includes, minimum guests, peak vs off-peak rates and the year each price was published.
Last checked: 5 October 2026
"All-inclusive" on a wine farm can mean anything from venue hire with a set menu to a three-night exclusive takeover with cottages, catering and coordination. This guide compares wine farm wedding packages that publish clear inclusions and a year, so you can see what you're actually buying before you request a quote.
How we checked this
Every venue comes from our Western Cape wine farm wedding audit (Franschhoek, Stellenbosch, Paarl, Constantia, Durbanville and Walker Bay), checked against official estate websites and package PDFs on 5 October 2026. A venue qualifies if it publishes a package or package-style rate with inclusions and a price year (usually via a brochure URL), and hosts weddings (yes) or wedding-style celebrations (limited) with a source link. We copy prices as published with the year. Historic or undated figures are labelled. We never invent averages, and we don't rank unlike packages against each other — a R80 000 package that includes 34 beds is not "cheaper" than a R45 000 venue package that excludes food. Elgin and the outer regions aren't covered yet.
Package vs venue-only hire
| Model | What you usually get | What stays extra |
|---|---|---|
| Venue-only | Space, sometimes furniture and ceremony site | Catering, bar, staff, décor, coordination |
| Venue + catering package | Space plus set menus / per-person food | Drinks, florals, DJ, overtime |
| All-inclusive / investment package | Space, food, staff, often coordination and welcome drinks | Accommodation (unless stated), premium bar, décor upgrades |
| Exclusive-use stay package | Whole farm or hotel for a set number of nights | Food and drink sometimes still separate |
Our wine farm wedding cost guide explains how to compare quotes line by line.

Booking tips
- Match inclusions before you compare totals. Beds, VAT, service charges and drinks change everything.
- Ask which year the PDF covers. Many estates publish May–April season files; a 2026 winter rate may already have passed.
- Use midweek and winter levers when packages feel high. See midweek wedding specials and winter wedding specials.
- Venue-only can still be fair if you bring trusted suppliers. See affordable wine farm wedding venues.
- Size the package to your list. Mid-size bands are covered in venues for about 100 guests.
Frequently asked questions
What does an all-inclusive wine farm wedding package usually include?
Often the venue, set catering for a stated guest count, service staff and sometimes coordination or a welcome drink. Accommodation, bar tabs, décor, photography and overtime are commonly extra unless the brochure says otherwise.
Are package prices per person or for the whole wedding?
Both exist. Asara and Le Pommier publish per-person figures; Paserene, Fort Simon, Zandberg and Pearl Mountain publish lump sums for a base guest count. Always check which model you're reading.
Do packages include wine?
Sometimes estate wine is included or discounted; sometimes only corkage rules apply. Ask for a drinks annex. See how much wine for a wedding.
Can we customise an all-inclusive package?
Usually yes — menus, guest-count bands and ceremony sites flex — but the published figure is your starting point. Get every change in writing.
Which packages already cover winter or midweek 2027?
Fort Simon publishes winter 2027 bands; Babylonstoren and Laborie publish 2027/2028 seasonal columns; Silvermist publishes 2027 Kraal rates. Others need a fresh quote.
